  • Viterbo University: Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Medical Dietetics

Rachel became interested in the field of nutrition as an adolescent who began competitive long-distance running.  Her performance began to suffer one track season during her high school years, and was made aware of the immense importance of nutrition in performance, which is where her fascination in the field of Dietetics grew.  Rachel attended college at Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Community and Medical Dietetics. She ran on the cross country and track teams during her college career at Viterbo. Through experiences being a collegiate athlete and interning in a wide variety of nutritional–care setting such as collegiate athletics teams, a behavioral health hospital specialized in eating disorders, medical hospitals, schools, and clinics among others. Rachel has built a passion for working with a variety of patients.

Rachel believes that making lifestyle changes involving nutrition is ultimately up to the patient, and she strives to provide them with the education, motivation, tools and support to do so. Rachel aims to help others live happy and healthy lives, through an individualized approach to their nutrition.

Outside of Viverant, Rachel enjoys running and racing marathons and half marathons, as well as spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and “cabining,” and spending time with her family and friends.
